At Tech ProFixer, we maintain a strict but fair refund policy to ensure customer satisfaction while protecting our business interests. Our policy is designed to be transparent, straightforward, and strictly enforced.

1. PRODUCT RETURNS (HARDWARE)

🕒 24-Hour Return Window:

  • Deadline: Return requests MUST be made within 24 HOURS of delivery
  • Condition Requirement: Products must be in perfect, unused condition with all original packaging and accessories
  • Inspection Fee: A 15% inspection fee applies to all returned items
  • Restocking Charge: 25% restocking fee for opened boxes (non-defective items)

🔧 Defective Products:

  • Proof Required: Video evidence of defect must be provided within 24 hours
  • Replacement Only: Defective items are replaced, not refunded
  • Diagnosis Required: Our technician must confirm defect before replacement
  • DOA Policy: Dead-on-arrival items replaced within 7 days (diagnosis required)

2. SERVICE REFUNDS

⏱️ Strict Cancellation Policy:

  • Before Service Start: 50% refund if cancelled 2+ hours before scheduled time
  • No-Show Fee: 100% charge if our technician arrives and customer isn't available
  • Last Minute Cancellation: No refund if cancelled less than 2 hours before service
  • Service Interruption: No refunds for service delays caused by customer unavailability

✅ Satisfactory Service Guarantee:

  • Warranty Period: 7-day warranty on all repair services
  • Re-Service: Free re-service within warranty if same issue recurs
  • No Cash Refunds: Service credits only for unsatisfactory work
  • Partial Refunds: Not available for partially completed services

3. STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

NO EXCEPTIONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES:

  • Software Licenses: Once activated/keys shared - IMMEDIATELY NON-REFUNDABLE
  • Custom-Built PCs: Entirely NON-REFUNDABLE after order confirmation
  • Digital Downloads: Software, drivers, digital manuals - NO REFUNDS
  • Diagnostic Fees: ₹500/₹1000 diagnostic charges - NON-REFUNDABLE
  • Labor Charges: All service labor fees - NON-REFUNDABLE once work begins
  • Special Order Items: Items ordered specifically for customer - NON-REFUNDABLE
  • Opened Software/Consumables: Toner, ink, cables, accessories - NON-REFUNDABLE

4. REFUND PROCESS TIMELINE

📋 Return Process Requirements:

  • Email Only: Refund requests accepted only via email to refunds@techprofixer.com
  • Documentation: Must provide invoice number, photos, and detailed reason
  • RMA Number: Return authorization required BEFORE returning any item
  • Shipping: Customer pays return shipping + insurance
  • Processing Time: 7-10 business days AFTER we receive returned item

5. REFUND METHODS & CHARGES

💳 Refund Methods:

  • Original Payment Method: Refunds issued to original payment source only
  • Service Credits: Preferred method for service-related refunds
  • Bank Transfer: Available for large amounts (minimum ₹5000)
  • NO CASH REFUNDS: Under any circumstances

💰 Deductions & Charges:

  • Transaction Fees: Payment gateway charges (3%) deducted from refund
  • Inspection Fee: 15% for all product returns
  • Restocking Fee: 25% for opened/non-defective items
  • Shipping Charges: Original and return shipping NOT refundable
  • Customs/Duties: International returns - customs duties NOT refundable

6. SPECIAL CONDITIONS & EXCEPTIONS

⚠️ No Refund Scenarios:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Found cheaper price elsewhere
  • Incompatibility with existing systems
  • Lack of technical knowledge to use product
  • Products damaged by customer misuse
  • Items purchased during sale/clearance
  • Gift cards and service vouchers

📝 Important Notes:

  • Warranty Claims: Separate from refund policy - contact manufacturer
  • Service Disputes: Must be reported within 24 hours of service completion
  • Chargebacks: Will result in permanent account suspension + legal action
  • Fraud Prevention: All refunds subject to fraud verification
